For more than a decade, Work Effects has analyzed conflict within organizations using our Conflict Lens™. Through extensive research of over 1,600 different conflict situations, we have found that conflict can be analyzed, conflict can be managed, and conflict can be resolved to create a more trusting environment between managers and employees, leading to successfully meeting business objectives.

Although different conflicts call for different approaches, our research has shown that certain behaviors, if done well, tend to result in constructive outcomes. Engaging the other person in resolving the conflict, trying to see his or her point of view, and building trust are some examples of what can be done to reach successful outcomes.
